Foreign Travel

We offer of travel vaccinations and advice at both our Surgeries. If you are travelling abroad we would strongly advise you to ensure that you have all the recommended vaccinations.

The Medical Advisory Service for Traveller's Abroad has extensive travel information and can provide a personalised Health Brief. Please try to plan ahead in order to complete your vaccination programme before you travel.

We can provide the following vaccinations
* Tetanus and Polio
* Typhoid
* Hepatitis A and B
* Low Dose Diphtheria
* Rabies
* Japanese Encephalitis
* Tick-borne Encephalitis

A fee is payable for certain vaccinations. Fees are payable in advance and you will be advised at your initial consultation or on request.

Malaria
We will advise you if you require malaria prophylaxis. If you are travelling to a malaria zone you should start treatment at least one week before you leave and continue for a least four weeks after you return.

Certain anti-malarials are available over the counter, whilst others require a Private Prescription.
